About BSI

Batching Systems, Inc. (BSI) is a privately owned company based in Prince Frederick, MD and has been operating since June 1, 1989, when our founder Donald Wooldridge decided to start his own company. The goal was simple: Provide a better counter for manufacturing businesses. He began by servicing equipment, and then transitioned to selling equipment integration. Eventually, he developed his own product line starting with a counter that validated product size. That was the beginning of Batching Systems Inc.

Sadly, Don passed in 2012, but not before developing 6 patents in the packaging industry and providing the blueprint for our own product line of counters, weighers, and baggers. We now offer engineered integrated system solutions that utilize our newest generation of equipment that uses our patents with the highest quality of components. Located in Southern Maryland, the company employs about 25 people and is now owned and managed by Don’s son, David Wooldridge.

We provide batching, scanning and filling solutions by count, weight, or volume for a variety of products from tablets and pills, to toys, hardware, sporting goods, crafts, plastics, agricultural products, medical devices, food, candy, confectionery, rolls and bagels. Our systems are highly engineered and rugged, offering reliable and precise count accuracy, while at the same time providing maximum operational flexibility.
