Batching Systems, Inc. (BSI) is a privately owned company based in Prince Frederick, MD and has been operating since June 1, 1989, when our founder Donald Wooldridge decided to start his own company. The goal was simple: Provide a better counter for manufacturing businesses. He began by servicing equipment, and then transitioned to selling equipment integration. Eventually, he developed his own product line starting with a counter that validated product size. That was the beginning of Batching Systems Inc.
Sadly, Don passed in 2012, but not before developing 6 patents in the packaging industry and providing the blueprint for our own product line of counters, weighers, and baggers. We now offer engineered integrated system solutions that utilize our newest generation of equipment with the highest quality of components. Located in Southern Maryland, the company employs about 20 people and is now owned and managed by Don’s son, David Wooldridge.

BSI provides system solutions for filling and bagging that utilize BSI counters, weighers, feeding systems and baggers for a variety of products, Small parts, fasteners, tablets, pills, toys, hardware, sporting goods, crafts, plastics, agricultural products, medical devices, food, candy, confectionery, rolls and bagels. Our systems are highly engineered and rugged, offering reliable and precise count accuracy, while at the same time providing maximum operational flexibility.
BSI serves a wide variety of industries - each with its own unique challenges. Our four divisions include: Industrial, Food, Medical, Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical.
