For 28 years Batching Systems, Inc. (BSI) has been supplying equipment for packaging automotive hardware and components. Over these years BSI has developed seven patents and refined our product line to provide cost effective solutions to accurately count and weigh these products into bags, boxes, blisters, and clamshells in bulk, single count or multi part kit
packages. BSI’s product line was developed to be flexible and robust utilizing leading edge patented technology to provide our customers with state of the art solutions. One of our first kit packaging lines produced over 25 years ago is still in production today packaging hardware kits
for a leading shock supplier. This kit system packages nuts, bolts and rubber boots into thermal printed bags at over 60 bags per minute including an inserted assembly drawing with instructions.
Today we have continued with this formula of success by offering the most accurate,
robust, and fastest counters, weighers, and baggers in the world. These systems are specifically designed for heavy duty hardware applications and are used for hardware mounting kits for bumpers, step rails, and tow hitches. Durable mechanical designs also require durable platforms to match the life expectancy of your system. No one wants a disposable razor packaging solution model. That’s why all our core products utilize a state-of-the-art B&R Automation controls platform. B&R Automation is considered one of the best and most reliable electronic control
platforms on the market today. It is the only manufacture that guarantees backward compatibility with its new products. This means the next generation touch screen, processer, or motor, will be a drop-in replacement and will run with your existing software. This also allows us to utilize our resources refining our product line instead of continually redeveloping it with brand new
electronics platforms. Automation equipment is an investment that is expected to run for 20 years or more. Retrofitting and reprograming or replacing equipment every three to seven years
like a computer or phone is a costly option that often provides no improvement and in some cases reduced performance. By marrying our mechanically robust designs to a backwards compatible electronics platform we are able to easily support the latest generation of equipment
for the next 20 to 30 years. New software capabilities can be incorporated on older lines as they are developed.
With only five years of production experience with our new lines of equipment our customers are already seeing the benefits of our manufacturing philosophy. A customer of ours who supplies brake rebuild kits has a kit line with some of the first Batchmaster® IV 5-gate counters we produced. They purchased this line because we offered solutions and production speeds that no one else has. Our standard counter could accurately count washers, 5” long bolts, plastic guides, rubber sleeves, and spring clips of many sizes and shapes. Our Vertical Form, Fill, and Seal (VFFS) machines are specifically designed to meet the needs of heavy hardware
applications. VFFS baggers are the most cost efficient solution for making bags and can save thousands of dollars a year in material cost when compared to premade bags on a roll. Our kitting system with VFFS bagger allows you to produce two different kit bag assemblies during the same production run or it can separate each item packaged in multi cell bags. Refining the
software running our products has allowed us to update existing systems over the years including providing remote access for support and updates. Improved counter gate function programing, increased number of recipes which can be saved, enhanced scanner debris filtering, auto gate fault restart, custom operator lock outs, refined processing speeds, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) programs, and bar code reading are just some of the new enhancements that are now available as we continually develop software.

leading providers of automotive repair parts needed to automate filling of display blister packs
BSI provided state of the art counters with multi dump fill station tooling that allowed one
counter to fill multiple fill points, maximizing the efficiency of their blister lines. When another
customer required long parts oriented into a bulk supply boxes BSI utilized our Fast Automatic Weigher (FAW) with magnetic orienter and smart box line conveyor to orient and fill 50 count of 6” bolts into boxes. Over the last 28 years we have suppled automotive packaging solutions
