For nearly 25 years, Batching Systems, Inc. (BSI) has been a leader in product counting and filling technology and systems integration. Batchmaster® Counting Systems are the only counters with patented dual-view optics that scan your product from two directions at 4000 to 6000 times per second, creating a high-resolution 3-D image of each part, allowing a volume analysis on the image and assigning a value to each image. Only parts within the assigned volume range are counted, while out-of-tolerance parts are rejected prior to entering the package.
High-Accuracy Counting/Sorting Features The Batchmaster® IV is an accurate, high-speed counting system that detects and rejects parts one-third smaller or larger than a target part, thereby separating the good parts from the bad parts.
The Batchmaster® offers multi-directional scanning and inspection, counts parts regardless of size, shape or clarity and at the same time ignores scrap and findings. Falling parts cannot hide behind each other because the dual-view scanner measures the volume of a tumbling part and the part will not be counted twice. The dual-view scanner validates the size of the part. Thin washers and the like are easily identified and counted. We can also detect two parts as two parts and not as one part. Parts from a 1/8" round part up to a 3" x 7-1/2" part can be processed.
The dual-view scanner provides dust filtering and auto calibration. As dust or dirt builds up on the eye or there is a change in light levels, the scanner will adjust automatically until it can no longer scan accurately. The system will fault and alarm the operator that the eye needs to be cleaned.
Enhanced Parts Feeding & Fast Changeovers
A wide variety of parts can be fed and singulated with our high-speed, enhanced-geometry, dual-axis bowl feeder. Also, changeovers from one part to another require no tools and takes less than two minutes.
Additional system features include industrial-grade stainless steel hopper, bowl and stand; integrated PLC and remote network capability; available UL and cUL; and IP65 Wash Down, Food Grade and Anti-Static options.
